Denuncian maltrato animal en granjas de cerdos de Irlanda (VIDEO)

Una desgarradoras imágenes de unos cerdos en condiciones deplorables se han vuelto virales, ya que los animales aparecen con graves heridas generadas por el canibalismo que han desarrollado entre ellos por la falta de alimentación que tienen en la granja en la que viven.

Estas perturbadoras imágenes fueron captadas en una granja en Irlanda del Norte por voluntarios de organizaciones que trabajan a favor de los derechos de los animales. Ellos se infiltraron en el rancho llamado McGuckian Brothers, ubicado en la ciudad de Ballymena.

Los videos y las fotos que captaron se observa a los cerdos encerrados en un lugar sucio y hacinado. La piel rosa de los animales está manchada de negro por la suciedad además de que presentan graves heridas.

Algunos cerdos tienen huecos grandes en las piernas, en el estómago, en la cabeza y a otros incluso se les pueden ver los órganos carcomidos en esos huecos, pues los animales han tenido que comerse entre sí para poder sobrevivir.

Algunos animales se encuentran tirados y otros aún están de pie pero apenas si realizan algunos movimientos con la cabeza, pues están en agonía por las malas condiciones en las que viven.

Tuesday Goti, una de las activistas narró que fue una de las experiencias más desgarradoras que hay vivido, pues tuvo que presenciar el canibalismo de los animales.

“Se la estaban comiendo mientras estaba viva. Ni siquiera tenía fuerza para gritar. Sollozaba suavemente y no había nada que pudiéramos hacer", contó en una entrevista con portal metro.co.uk.

Tras darse a conocer las indignantes imágenes, activistas se manifestaron afuera de la granja y tras llegar a un acuerdo con el dueño del lugar, lograron salvar a algunos cerdos. En un video se observa que los voluntarios sacan de los chiqueros a los animales y se los llevan envueltos en mantas.
