Childish Gambino y Kacey Musgraves lideran Grammys; conoce la lista de ganadores

La 61 entrega de los premios Grammy se llevó a cabo en el Staples Center de Los Ángeles, Estados Unidos, lugar en el que la Academia Nacional de Artes y Ciencias de la Grabación reconocerá a los mayores exponentes de la música.

Childish Gambino se hizo acreedor a 5 Grammys esta noche. Con "This is America",  canción con la que el cantante hace su crítica política a los Estados Unidos, Gambino obtuvo los premios a Mejor Grabación del año, Mejor Video Musical, Mejor Canción del Año y Mejor Colaboración de Rap. Además, con "Feels Like Summer" ganó el premio a Mejor Canción R&B.

Pese a que los géneros Rap y R&B protagonizaron la 61 entrega de premios Grammys, la artista estadounidense de música Country, Kacey Musgraves, obtuvo cuatro premios, entre los que destaca el premio al Mejor Album del Año, el galardón más importante de la ceremonia.

Además del premio ya mencionado, Musgraves obtuvo las preseas por Mejor Album de Música Country, Mejor Canción Country y Mejor Interpretación Solista de Canción Country.

Luis Miguel gana Grammy

El cantante mexicano Luis Miguel ganó el premio Grammy en la categoría Álbum Regional Mexicano por “¡México por siempre!”, tras 14 años de no haber conseguido ese reconocimiento.

“El Sol” no asistió a la gala que se realiza de manera previa a la ceremonia oficial, por lo que escribió en sus redes sociales: “Muy agradecido con @RecordingAcad por este reconocimiento para #MéxicoPorSiempre como “Mejor Álbum de Música Regional Mexicana”.

Se trata del sexto Grammy americano que recibe el cantante de 48 años en sus 37 años de trayectoria musical.

Zoé gana Grammy al Mejor Álbum de Rock Latino

La banda mexicana Zoé se alzó con el Grammy al Mejor Álbum de Rock Latino, Urbano o Alternativo por su disco “Aztlán”, durante la 61 entrega de los premios que se lleva a cabo en Los Ángeles, California.

Ese reconocimiento se suma a los dos Latin Grammy que la agrupación ganó en 2011.

A través de sus redes oficiales Zoé escribió: "Emocionados por este gran logro para #ZoéAztlán / "Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Rock Album" en los @RecordingAcad #GRAMMYs.
